Why We Choose The Certification Approach?
In 2017, there was a 51% rise for tech-startup investments in Africa. The availability of experienced and trained workers cannot keep up with the demands of the quickly changing I.T. field. Certifications prove the best alternative for someone who is financially, or for alternative reasons, unable to attend a four-year college. According to Global Knowledge, in 2008 the number of IT professionals with at least one certification was just 38%. By 2019, that number had skyrocketed to 85%. As the technological field grows in Ghana, equipping young Ghanaians with important education and tools will become an even greater need. IT certifications provide a barrier-free way to ensure those tools are accessed.
We see the value of making the I.T career viable for those who otherwise will not be able to access this type of training.

When students are connected with Mentors it helps accelerate their education and career. Mentors and students work together on creating and accomplishing goals during their time with Vouch.
Education
Students are recruited to join a year-long I.T. program that gives them the opportunity to receive internationally acclaimed certifications. These certifications, along with their new I.T. skills, will help them kickstart a career in the field. We believe that technology is a tool that is best utilized alongside strong problem-solving abilities and enhanced critical thinking skills.
Resources
Vouch covers tuition, certification and project costs alongside providing computers and software needed for students to be successful. This organization emphasizes the self-determination and empowerment of students rather than dependency. Our goal is to see students realize their potential and have the tools available to achieve their goals.
