Vouch is responding to an identified growing need in Ghana for access and education surrounding technology. It provides an avenue for young people who have interest in the technology field but do not have access to it.We support access to technology in addition to tutoring and technology curriculum. This allows students an opportunity to receive internationally acclaimed certifications that will equip them with the skills needed to start a career in IT.

Our Strategy
Vouch works with area schools, churches, and organizations to identify students who are interested in working in the IT field but cannot access the needed training. Students will be identified based on their commitment to the program through a screening and interview process.
Once students are chosen, they attend an orientation and workshop to help give them a better idea of what the yearlong program will entail. They are given a detailed information on the Vouch curriculum and expectations on our Core Values of Teamwork, Transparency, Leadership, Dedication & Integrity. During this time, students will be encouraged to create goals for their time with Vouch and to develop a pathway by choosing an area of study.
Classes are led by Vouch’s staff and volunteers. Using certification resources, I.T. professionals, and one-on-one tutoring, students are prepared to take accredited exams. Mentors assist students with identifying a career path, setting goals and navigating the certification process.
As students develop I.T. skills, Vouch introduces practical opportunities by assigning students projects in nearby communities to help solve identified problems using technology. This further develops the students’ leadership aptitude as they gain valuable real-world experience.
